New Global Horizons

Since its founding in 2008 New Global Horizons has sponsored projects worldwide serving women and children who are among the most vulnerable in their communities. Projects in Washington, DC, in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, Kenya and in the poorest areas of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia have seen physical development of housing and schools, new educational and livelihood opportunities for those most in need, and the creation of thriving communities based on heartfelt connections among community participants. We have sponsored projects totally over $100,000,000 since our inception involving corporate, foundation and government partners.

In 2015 we are taking on projects which involve a focus on the heart connection of all populations in an attempt to enhance the mindfulness of individuals in many sectors of societies as they experience the stresses of community, workplace and nonprofit development as well as the quality of the connection of individuals in their everyday lives. These projects will begin with Empowering the Heart of Health Care as a way to ease the burdens of those serving clients and patients worldwide with new mindfulness awareness and tools.
